The magic of Ocimum Gretissmum also called scent leaves in Africa is one of such. It is cultivated all over in Nigeria and different cultures have name for it :
1.     Yoruba’s call it – efirin
2.     Igbo’s call it – nchanwu (mosquito repellant)
3.     Hausa’s call it – daidoya

It has been concluded from years of intense research that this “Herb” has several medicinal values as its breakdown produces several chemical substances that have physiological impact on the body.

The extracts of this shrub is grown mostly in the tropic especially in Africa, Asia, South America and the West.

1.     Used as delicacy because of its smell and aromatic taste
