Moderation In Everything Is The Key To A Great Life

Moderation according to the English dictionary means something not being excessive, can also mean average priced, standard deal, mild, gentle. It can also mean bringing something away from the extremes and avoidance of extremes especially in a beneficial way.

From the above, one can see that it relates to caution in whatever you do and relating to all spheres of life, from the inner to the outer and from the mundane to the extremes.

Excesses in thoughts and emotions does bring about unpleasant and at most times destructive results and consequences, I will illustrate below.

When you are happy and in good mood, that is positivity and it is a valuable and insightful trait to have and manifest. It creates good tidings and manifests abundance, success and prosperity I your life which is good.

But when you go overboard or into the extremes, then you throw caution to the mind and go over 100%, at this point you may get too trusting and go overboard in terms of faith in yourself, thereby you don’t pay attention to what is happening around you and you may unfortunately get caught up in an intricate web.

The world is a school as you know therefore we are here not to indulge in our excesses to learn to give and receive love but most importantly, be a channel for the divine source as you are but a focal point in it,

When you are in excess you relax and let your guard down and this can make the ever willing servant – the mind want to take control as you are in an indulgent state and not paying attention.

It could take charge and make you think you are in control when you obviously are not, it watches you like a cat watching a mice and loves to play those deadening and irritating cat and mouse games, to stay in control always you must be careful and watchful of all that you are doing at all times.

On the negative side, when you are in a foul mood, angry and unhappy, it is so easy to fall and be gullible to auto suggestions from the mind. Except you are so good in deciphering when you are thinking and talking and when it’s your mind thinking and talking,

A paradoxical irony isn’t it?

You always assume you are your thoughts whereas you aren’t your thoughts, at least not on a conscious level. On a conscious level you are pure consciousness and divinity and like Jesus said, “you are the light of the world”, you are a happy being at the deepest core without the passions of the mind or what I prefer to call the mental grooves.

They are the habits that the mind is so immersed in and creates the narratives that you assume is you talking whereas it’s your mind and when you can moderate your thinking especially the negatives ones, you can create a more balanced and happy life.

Gossip, idle chatter, slandering, back biting, anger, envy, jealousy all build a whirl pool of negativity that if you aren’t careful can spill into a huge emotional overflow so you must watch your thoughts carefully and always.

The same thing apply to normal activities like hanging out with friends and drinking, alcohol and tobacco dulls the senses so you need to watch it or else you would go overboard and say and do something you would deeply regret later.

Many are in this state of regret and would give anything (arm and leg included) to have it not have happened or erase it totally but alas that’s not possible.

Then again we come to over eating and binge eating and drinking and again you have to watch it so you don’t go overboard, like all the others mentioned above, these are also linked to vibrating at low states or being unhappy.

When you are happy and filled with gratitude and love, you cannot stay or be at these low frequencies where you are assailed by negativity and its corresponding vices, it’s just not possible.

Rear, anger, jealousy, bitterness, resentment and all the likes operate and exist at low vibrations and states of consciousness, where you absolutely must be careful or else you will be drawn into its whirlpool of vices and corresponding states that leaves you drained and unhappy.

So you can see, moderation in anything and everything and in all aspects of life is truly the key to a great life.

Remember too much positivity is also detrimental as it leaves you vulnerable and not in total control of yourself and where you can easily be preyed upon by entities and vices looking for fulfillment.

Think about what that means!

Taking responsibility and recognizing that we cause all of our core issues is not a reality for most people.

Taking responsibility to see life differently without justification, judgement and blame, rejection or anxiety, fear or anger would really help you in the long run.

Every condition, disease or disorder is a spiritual condition that has come up for review and to be dealt with and taken care of. Once the lesson is truly learnt and absorbed, the conditions or situation reverses itself and clears out and that’s when we say a healing has occurred and a miracle has happened.

Every problem preludes a negative thought and mindset so watch your thoughts and emotions carefully and guard them jealously.

Nothing can stop you if you have the courage, commitment and the discipline to move through your limitations.

‘Let yourself be drawn by the stronger pull of that which you truly love’

The purpose of life is to discover who you really are, know and create yourself and experience yourself as who you really are (not the body that houses you) as a part of the divine source to give and receive love and serve all creatures of the divine.

As long as you don’t or you refuse to see yourself as a victim then life becomes a challenge that you can overcome with commitment and consistent work and it will pay you back handsomely.

A lesson you avoided in a past life will be forwarded to the current life until you get the lesson right or understood the reason for it. Each time the lesson is more intense, than the last experience until you recognize it.

This is an interactive universe where we all work together in each other’s lessons and life whether we want it or not or whether we are aware of it or not.

Our fears always surface when we least expect it and when it does, its better to face the lesson and conquer it.

You can take back control of your life and drive it the way you would rather want it to be and have things and have things the way you want it to be.

It takes taking responsibility for all the wrongs that have happened in your life because whether you agree or not, you are held responsible for all your:

1.  THOUGHTS

2.  WORDS

3.  ACTION

Nobody wants to listen to your cry of wolf or denial or victim mentality and it won’t take you far except you sit still, take stock of your life and determine and desire to turn it around and that’s where and when the answers or solutions come in.

If and when you are now truly ready to take back control and look out for the patterns and lessons in your life to understand the mind aberrations that are causing your problems and have taken control of your life.

That’s when the creative centers open within and you can finally have the tools to help you change the course of your life and manifest your destiny.

To succeed in life, you must refuse to see yourself as a loser no matter what the prevailing situation or condition might be and you evaluate what you can do to succeed.

The most important qualities are self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence and that you understand that you are entitled to abundance in your life.

You can do anything you want to and be anything you want to, provided you believe that it is possible.

Victims do not hold that belief!

So ask yourself – are you a victim?
